I thought I would take a moment to answer the question, What is a Mod? A Mod (modifier) or Add on, is a perfectly legal addition to the game of WOW. These Mods add additional functions to the game, usually making game play easier or more fun. On our site look for the Add Ons section. These are Mods used by me, Slytwo - Mr. Addon and many of our memembers. Some are marked a MUST have if you wish to be in our guild. These particular Mods will help us to help you in the game.

Mods like Guilmate Map will show us where in the world of Warcraft your character is. We can then guide you to where you need to go. Character Profiler, PvP Log, and Nomads Uploader help keep our Roster website up to date (link is in your members area). The Roster area has a plethora of info to help all of us.

The rest of the listed Add ons are ones I am recommending. These and other Mods can be found at these recomended websites:

Thought this might help us figure out what stats to get:

1 Intellect = 15 Mana

Agility = increase your chance to crit

Stamina = increases Health points

Intellect = increases mana plus chance to crit

Spirit = increases Health plus Mana regeneration

Hunters
- "Silencing Shot" now does only 50% of weapon damage instead of 75%.
- The base damage for "Arcane Shot" has been reduced by about 9% and
the bonus damage from ranged attack power reduced from 20% to 15%.
- The bonus damage for "Barrage" is now 4/8/12% for ranks 1/2/3.
- The bonus damage for "Improved Barrage" is now 4/8/12% for ranks
1/2/3.

Mages
- Each rank of "Improved Fireball" now reduces your spell damage
coefficient by 2%.
- Each rank of "Improved Frostbolt" now reduces your spell damage
coefficient by 2%.
- "Counterspell" no longer triggers the global cooldown.
- "Mana Shield" now absorbs magical damage as well as physical damage.

Priests
- The bonus coefficient for "Shadow Word: Pain" has been reduced by
about 9%. This should result in about 5% less damage done by
"Shadow Word: Pain" for the typical priest.

Bug Fixes
- The "Frozen Shadoweave Boots" will now properly increase shadow
damage.
- Players will no longer lose control of their character if they try
to talk to an NPC while mobs are aggro on them.
- The /equip command will now work on pieces of gear that are not in
your primary bag.
- Fixed an issue that was causing some players to disconnect in
Hellfire Citadel:Blood Furnace.
- The "Corruptor" 4 piece set bonus will now be properly applied.
- The Legion Fel Cannons at Forge Camp Anger in Blades Edge will now
properly spawn above ground.
- The Arena queue tooltip will now show the arena that the player is
queued for.
- Fixed an error that was causing players to disconnect if they tried
to socket a gem that had been gift wrapped.
- Fixed an error that was causing players to disconnect forming a
party with other members in the same area.
- Pet icons will now properly update in the Stables window.
- Improved the robustness of the pet action bar display. It is now
less likely to be accidentally blocked by addons.
- Players will no longer hear the gong sound repeated after initially joining
a queue for the battlegrounds.
- Having a group invite declined while queued via "Looking for More"
will no longer remove you from the queue.
- Nethershards will no longer cost honor to purchase but will cost
gold instead.
- Players will no longer be given access to both quest lines following
the Declaration of Allegiance to the Scryers or Aldor in Shattrath
City.

Yet Another Patch

World of Warcraft Client Patch 2.0.5 (01/14/2007)

• Increased the maximum number of realms that can be listed in the Realm List.
• Updated the Terms of Use.
• Created an option to disable UI Acceleration for users of select video cards experiencing graphical corruption of the User Interface. To utilize this option, enter the following line to the Config.wtf file, located in the WTF subfolder of the game:
  Set UIFaster "x"

  Where x equals:

  0 - This turns off all UI acceleration
  1 - For Internal Use Only - DO NOT USE!
  2 - Enables partial UI acceleration only.
  3 - Enables all UI acceleration.

  Example:

  Set UIFaster "2"

  Note: For users experiencing graphical corruption of the User Interface, it is recommended to try option 2 in order to correct the problem. If this does not solve the issue, then use option 0 to disable all UI Accleration

WOW New Patch ... ALREADY!!!
Seems we have a new patch already 2.0.4.

Just a reminder. If you are using addons, go to your Addons button before you enter world, click top right "Load out of date" and then Okay at bottom. Seems to be working ok .. so far.

We now have a Guild Bank.

What is a Guild Bank? A character(s) is designated as a BankMule. Awhile back Armomore and Ravanne chose Midnyte as that banker. Her job is to hold items for the good of the Guild members. How to use her is being discussed. With Armomore's permission I think we should use her as an exchange service. We Trades people deposit some starting to mid-level items in the bank. New guildie reaches level 10 and withdraws their armor and or weapons(s). They then level to 15. Withdraw the level 15 items and REPLACE the level 10 items. This then goes on 'til end game. So as we trade people can make pieces we need to deposit one piece with the Banker. Please keep in mind that Soulbond or Bind On Use items cannot be used as such

Gatherers could deposit reserves of items. Since leather stacks in 20, keeping stacks of 20 of each type in stock would be a big help. As people receive these items or skinners acquire over stock, they could donate some. Remember I am saying donate, since you would obviously want to sell these to get your own monies. Since Midnyte will stay in a major city to mail out and receive items, she has plenty of storage (all her bag space plus initial bank and one cheap bag space). After that we could always start and still track additional Bank Mules.

Since Midnyte can also track Guild monies for us, I think the money there now, which is not ours but belongs to Ravanne, should be removed. Since monies will be needed to be raised, the Banker could ship items COD. This would be the Vendor price (Sell Value addon will show this) plus say 10%. This price would be very fair, especially since most of these items are NOT sold at a vendor but have a vendor price. Other unusual or rare items could be sold per Banker's pricing. These monies could then help fund Guild tabors and stipend for new members.

Whew! If Armomore would give his Aye or Naye by just doing an Edit: at the bottom of this post (because he can now :))we could get started.

Yes we have a back end! It is The Roster Pages and only shows up to guild members. It runs off the 3 pieces of software that I have listed as a must install for all guild members. I shall try and post some instructions here.

When you enter The Roster Pages you will be greeted by the control panel which is under our header. Do not pay attention to any of the "Updating Instructions" at the bottom of the page.Directly under our header is a red banner. This displays the Guild message that is also being displayed in the game. The control panel is under that.

On the control panel you will see "buttons", which when pressed will bring you to a new display. The default display is Roster. Note that tool tips should display some initial info when held over the players name and other items. The listing can be sorted by columns which breaks it up into some interesting groups. If you should click on the top of the Class column you will see what classes we have (and therefore what classes we would need). Clicking on a players name will bring you to the fun page.

Here you can now view all the information and stats for that character. All the tabs under their character frame work. There are more buttons along the top of this page to click for Bags, Bank and such. Any item in the frame or bags / bank can be clicked and you will be taken to Thottbot for more info. A button of interest at the top would be Recipes, which will list what this character can make for you. Negotiating pricing is up to you.

Back at the Control Panel page, there are a few buttons of interest also. Clicking on the Team button, will bring up some search boxes for Quest. You can use Thot or Ala, but of more interest is finding some of our characters that are working on or have done quests. You can look for quests or by area. The Search button will look through all our characters for what ever work / term you need.

Toward the bottom of the Control Panel is a section marked Addons in blue. This has some Addons written by various people that add more control and results to your Guild needs. You can search for recipes (Missing Recipes) that your character is missing from their known list. Need a particular item? Clicking on Made By will bring up that search window. Finally we have Guild Bank. This still looks through our Bank Mule (further discussion on that in another news post), but sorts the list by Category. There is a bug that throws some white lines of error but just ignore. If you want to get rid of them, use the filter on right, enter level 1 to 70 and hit Set Filter .. viola errors gone.

If you are already a member, make sure and register, fill out your profile, logout and log back in. You will then see a new link on left side for Members Area. Use it. Then you MUST visit the addons section and download the required 3 files. These will greatly improve your ingame experience.

All other addons are strictly my recomendation and are being used by me to help simplifiy and improve game playing.
